"Owner's bedroom" is upscale? Because when I hear it, I think the person has had to rent out the rest of the rooms to make the morgage.
Couldn't you also say something like "main bedroom"? Then people would know what you meant. I feel like if I read "owner's suite" I would think that meant something different than just a bedroom, which I guess is fine for the upscale houses as discussed but otherwise might sound confusing/misleading.
Is that the origin of the term? Like etymology-wise? Are we sure bedrooms aren't "master" in the sense of master plan or master degree or master at arms?
