I work in a hospital and see this way too often. A kid will be going through their last round of chemo and I hear "God is good!" or "It is His will!" or "Praise Him!".

I was sick and fucking tired of people telling me what they spent to make their own computer. So I finally did it myself. Holy shit, it was like putting adult Legos. I actually had fun, and saved probably $500 in the process.

"Appetite" holds kind of a nostalgic place in my heart. It came out when I was only a few years old, but it was my roommate and I's favorite album in college (in the mid 00s) and we loved G n R non-ironically. We would go to parties and set peoples iPods to play Welcome to the Jungle on repeat, then lock it so no one

Holy shit, I almost pissed my pants reading this.

As a huge Cubs fan, + a very, very sad 1.

This sounds eerily similar to what Joe Paterno said when the board of trustees tried to fire him last year, something along the lines of "The Board of Trustees shouldn't worry about me". Nothing funny to say, it just seems like a fucked up sort of mantra they've all developed.

C'mon, let the Penn State fans finally have a victory in this argument, even if it comes against the author of songs such as "Money Makes Me Come" and "Rich Off Cocaine".

I agree with you, Sean. "It's just a statue". The fact that no one associated with Penn State seems to get that just exacerbates the problem.

Oh c'mon, I'm still in my 20s! Technically.

I swore off NCAA this year and talked shit about it every chance I got. I actually ended up buying it a few days ago (I'm ashamed of myself).

Well, laptops that can handle today's games are going to be nearly triple your average priced laptop. It's just the nature of the beast. However, you can put together a PC for gaming for around ~$500. I also don't see why you would only use your computer to play video games? Maybe I am misunderstanding.

I dare you to say that to 1940s era six day bike race...Australian guy? Alf Goullet's face. I guess.

Yeah, I mean, my point (before we all got off on a tangent) is that there is probably not some great licensing conspiracy, it was probably due more to the fact that EA just doesn't check this stuff or just doesn't care.

There are four new teams to the FBS this year. Out of the four, South Alabama was the first to announce it was playing a full FBS schedule in the Sunbelt conference. They announced they were moving to the FBS more than two years ago.

Generally, I would agree with you. But being a pretty avid NCAA fan, this has been par for the course for the NCAA series this generation. Just boneheaded, lazy mistakes that a player picks up on in less than a few hours of game play.

This. Only this.

I assume EA left out a school's fight song for the same reason they left out an entire team: they half ass everything.

So far, I've seen people riot when Paterno was fired and now the administration is afraid to take down the statue in case it should happen again.

The disturbing part is that THIS is what disturbs the Penn State community. Not the, you know...rape.

Thanks a lot, Penn State, for making the sound of a man's genitalia slapping gently against another person's buttocks gross.
