Yes, all things have equal weight and this experience is exactly like the worst thing to happen to me ever. Recounting one story on the internet = recounting all my experiences and the one I choose to talk about (that happens to be on the topic of the post) is, obviously, the worst.

Same. My experience was such a nightmare that if I get to the position of being questioned by the judge for jury selection, I am going to flat out tell them anything I can to get out of it, including “I will vote however everyone asks, regardless if I believe in what I am voting for.” That’s how terrible my juror…

The dialogue was hokey but I could deal with it. Then they whipped out the “he thinks he’s the Phantom from Phantom of the Opera!” and I was all, “We are done here, show.”

Watch any Project Runway episode where the designers are asked to design for women who aren’t models for an answer to that question. Almost without fail at least one of them melts down and acts like Heidi personally shot their childhood pet. It’s insane.

Eh, depends on the cat. If you’ve got a cat that refuses to allow you to brush them (hissing, spitting, biting, etc) and shaving them is the only thing that prevents serious matting, shave them.

The nurses my husband had during his chemo were literal saints. Every last one. I don’t know how they did it because it was so hard for me to be in that infusion room week after week and see how sick some of those other patients were.
