You’re not ghosts! You’re the fucking Boys from Brazil!’ gets me every time

Amen!

Every “Historically beloved series, but cynical or inverted” has already been done - and been done better - by The Venture Brothers.

Hear me out here... What if we didn’t? What if we just... didn’t. That could be cool!

Requiring X amount of miles of FSD to unlock features is an even worse idea, because it will encourage people to use FSD more to unlock it quicker, even in less than ideal conditions. “This road seems unsafe, but I gotta get my miles in so I’ll leave it on.”

Its almost like if we had less guns this would be less likely to happen, because all the other tropes (“mental health” “criminals will always get a gun” “not enough police on site to stop the bad guys” etc.) don’t really apply here.

It’s ironic  sad that it will be easier to take away the lady’s child than her gun.

A lot of abusive people - a lot of abusive men, even - learned very quickly that all they need to do is simply admit to having issues and the mere act of offering even a sliver of remorse buys them all sorts of goodwill and more significantly, leads readers/supporters into believing change has taken place. For all the

While I don’t disagree with you, Noma is a Danish restaurant. And the site says it’s been planning this change for more than two years, which sounds an awful lot like Mr. Famous Chef is super bored and wants to do something else, but finds it quite convenient to blame it on the employees wanting things like “lives”

I would’ve been for it, but Glass’s ending would still have left things cold.

Thank you for reinforcing my belief that the average pop culture comments section has better film pitches than most Hollywood think tanks.

I’ve installed these shitty $100 laptops for several clients. They are absolute garbage. I do not recommend these to anyone.

“I enjoyed it until the last one [Return of the King],” he joked, “and then I was sort of like, ‘Oh, ok, I’ve seen this now — I should’ve gone to see Love Actually.”

I Disagree entirely with this take.

yup (and on a nicer note - it was a house for his mum).

“I have never seen the film, but by all accounts it was terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific.”

HAHAHAHAHA. What in fuck did he think was going to happen. Musk is nowhere near as popular IRL as he thinks he is online. Admittedly thats because the army of Musk stan bots don't exist IRL but you'd have thought he'd have worked that out by now.

Oh god please tell me we can make him shave off his awful attempt at a mustache and beard. He looked bad enough before. Now he looks like some deeply middle-class bloke you might have seen ineptly skateboarding on his clearly-new and never-used-before skateboard in the city centre, aged 32.

The biggest problem I had it was logic problems that I guess they expected to be okay thanks to suspension of disbelief. My threshold for that is very high and even I was glaring at the screen at several points.

It’s wild that this show has four seasons, stars Radcliffe, and feels like it has exactly zero cultural footprint.
