Yes, from the east coast US we got 2 or 3 meals...twas a long flight! And they were good (for airline food!) On a side note about Istanbul airport, I felt the stench of cologne/perfume was so strong that I joked it was piped in. I may be only half joking; seriously be prepared for some olfactory onslaught.

Seconding the travel agent thing. I’m my family’s travel agent, and I actually enjoy planning trips: hunting for bargain airfares, reading hotel/b&b reviews to get the best location, etc. But when planning a more complicated itinerary to my first European vacation I went with a travel agent who *killed* it with deals

I believe if you have more than a 12 hour lay-over on Turkish Air, you get a free night @ a 4 star hotel. Now playing

I'm pretty sure it's from "Black and Jewish", which is classic. L'Chaim, Bitches!

Gawd, cats are so evil. And I luvs them :)

I know, right?!

Oh, State and Main...If memory serves, the movie was filmed in Manchester-by-the-Sea as a stand-in for Vermont? I've seen the movie and have been to Manchester, MA a few times as a teenager, probably around the time of the filming/your wedding.

Interesting perspective. But what if your wealthy friends from a wealthy uni and town were all in entertainment and on talk shows, concerts, tv, etc? If they were regularly on the auditioning couch in their 20's and trying to hang on to their looks in their 30's/40's- the years they're having or raising kids- I
