Yes, exactly! Living near Washington DC now, and I've heard some parents take up the argument about letting high school kids start 30 minutes later, but the counter to that is the busing system would be messed up for the middle and grade school kids. But the idea seems to be gaining traction at least here.

Yes, I'm a New Englander and had to leave around 7AM to get to school around 7:30AM. Waking up in darkness and leaving to a setting sun in the winter was the norm.

Word. She looks fierce

Yeah, the comments here pretty much reinforce what the tourists or newbies are sensing about locals/established transplants. I smile too and sometimes even make eye contact, gasp! And a few tourists or newer transplants (in a town, let's face it, is full of them and most of us were in this position at one point)

Sounds a bit like a Fleetwood Mac take on it (with Stevie in the lead).

I get mine at Target or Kohl's.

Omg, thank you for bringing both Chips Ahoy and meddling mothers-in law into the conversation :)

What's weird is how much that coat sticks out from the rest of the flashy, trashy collection. I feel like the model wandered in from another show, put on some leggings to half-halfheartedly "blend in" and decided to take a walk down the Cavalli runway.

Thanks for the link...I really enjoyed the article tho I think a lot of Jezzies would probably freak out at some of the things she says :0

Aww...the Mr. Sleep and the gang seemed to be directed by Guy Ritchie :)

I can't get past the Lego People Hair.

If it's a tent it's Harry Potter ;) I think it's from book 4, the Quidditch cup one.

Lol. Isn't it so weird how much obvioushuh has invested in your comment about your major mumblesomething years ago? I can't decide if it's more mean-spirited or just plain bizarre.

Yeah, he's a lot of talk. Self-aggrandizing and self congratulatory talk.

$30,000 was a good salary in the 70's and in many places in the 80's as well. When many of my friends graduated college in 90's DC, a starting salary of 30-35k for an entry level professional job was considered good.

I agree with you....unfortunately however this restaurant apparently sells tickets so canceling the reservation isn't an option. You pay for the ticket and if you don't show you're on the hook for the meal, apparently.

Not only does Bethany interrupt her guest, she also took an eternity to ask her first question. She needs some coaching on basic interviewing. The interruption, though, was the worst because Courtney was on to something and she made it about herself.

Well, good for you, but mercifully not everyone is so judgmental as you.

Oh gawd...the BP CEO, right? That was brilliant.

If he's never met me, then how is it decorated just for...oh never mind.
