I agree with you....unfortunately however this restaurant apparently sells tickets so canceling the reservation isn't an option. You pay for the ticket and if you don't show you're on the hook for the meal, apparently.

New parents sometimes get tons of baby clothes from the shower...my mom said she would change my outfit a few times a day to get through/photograph all of the gifts in the first year. People aren't as excited though to purchase clothes for say, a 3 year old. It runs its course pretty fast unless you have a family…
