I don’t know where it is now but my first car was this 1976 Alfa Spider (bought in 1987). Looks fantastic in this photo but was beginning to succumb to rust at the rear quarter panels and even worse underneath.

I always thought “near miss” seemed more like an accident you almost avoided. “If I braked just half a second earlier, I would have missed that embankment. That was a near miss!”

Aging is right. Look at those widow’s peaks!

I’ve owned a couple of these. That shifter looks weird but immediately becomes intuitive and comfortable to use.

So you realize that taking an overhead space at the front of the plane when you’re sitting in the back means that you won’t even be able to get your luggage until you’re almost out of the plane anyway. But maybe it’s worth it because you can walk 75ft less without the bag in your hand?

It’s entirely possible to operate within the boundaries of the law and airline regulations and still be an a--hole.

If you beat the scalper to it, you can do that. But anyone who bought for MSRP would easily find a buyer for more than that if demand is there.

It took me until this suggestion to realize that this was all an April Fools joke.

Unfortunately, holding the line on pricing will only shift the exorbitant markups to the second buyer, who will buy from the scalper.

The best way to begin is by only using the clutch and brake pedals on a flat parking lot. First gear only until you get the hang of it. Don’t even touch the gas pedal.
