One thing that bugs me about this story is that the version of this car in the movie didn’t have the triangular vent window. IIRC, the windshield and doors of this replica came off of a Fiat 124/2000 Spider. The original Ferrari didn’t have those vent windows I don’t believe, so I prefer the look in the movie without

Here’s a way to reduce the value quotient but increase the fun quotient. I saw one of these at a local autocross session. I watched it go by several times and noted that it didn’t have that usual nasal V6 sound that these usually have. I found the hood popped up and this sitting in the engine bay.

I still don’t worry.

Pfffftt!! Easy.

Well THAT’S a pants filler.

That’s Kensei engineering.

If I’m not mistaken, there were some suspensions tuning differences as well that actually made the truck handle at least a bit better than the Chevy/GMC/Oldsmobile stablemates. And to my eye, it is better looking than those trucks. That’s obviously not enough to make it a real Saab.

‘Imagination’ and ‘spank bank’ can be so interchangeable!

Whenever I see a photo like this, I try to figure out the situation that it’s trying to depict.

I took my 12yo daughter to a daddy-daughter dance this past weekend and as a surprise, I gave her her first lesson in driving a manual afterward. She was ready to quit a couple times but I wouldn’t let her, and she was thrilled by the time she got it. I got it all on video and I can’t stop watching it! Just

Not to say it’s worth the money or it isn’t. That’s a personal decision.

I disagree. My friend had a delSol si which was basically the same thing. Maybe not the fastest thing in the world but it was an engaging car. It was the fastest Civic but not all about 0-60 times I’d say.

Oh ok. Actually. that is impressive in today’s context. Probably never see that again in an economy car.

Wasn’t this the last Civic with a double wishbone front suspension? Before it went to McStrut? That’s something, I suppose.

Now playing

So weird. This just came up as a suggestion on YouTube for me. Of course I watched it. (Filming locations for SATB)

Exactly! Also, there are no ‘Explorer’ badges because they’re not officially Explorers. Same with the Taurus/not Taurus.

Trollolololollhattan, as it were?
