I love the phrase “big on butt coverage” and also: so am I! It is really hard to find bikini bottoms these days that actually cover both cheeks fully, without delving into the “boy short” arena (and while I like boy shorts, sometimes I want a more classic cut but with decent rear coverage). I have a black bikini

It’s not even real sexy. It’s like what teenagers think adult sexy should look like. It’s we’re despratly trying to spice up our marriage and/or it’s valentine’s day and we’re supposed to be sexy sexy. It’s trying too hard, uncomfortable in their skin and missing the mark sexy.

It makes sense for them to abandon actual clothes, but swimsuits seem like a pretty obvious thing they should do, even though they definitely need to simplify a bit. As a matter of fact, lingerie/swimwear/athleisure seems like a fairly intuitive triangular framework for them to work within.

Yeah I’m so frustrated by swimsuits - not because I don’t like how I look, but because I just can’t find what I want: a bikini top with some support (not a fucking bandeau with a stupid ruffle) and bottoms that are SHORTS. And that comes in more colors than black.

I can’t remember the last time I bought a swimsuit that wasn’t from VS. It’s been at least four or five years. And I hate their bras but their swimsuits are perfect for the price range and there are so many styles, it’s easy to find one for your body type. I’m totally bummed too and actually really surprised cause I

Their basic ones though are GREAT! They don’t need to kill the whole swimwear line, just get rid of (to borrow a phrase) the hot garbage one. Keep the staples!!

I was literally stunned. I still would have side-eyed it had it been at a networking-type dinner or event where the atmosphere is a little more social. I might have even entertained the idea that it wasn’t related to my gender because some people just like to talk about stuff like that. Ultimately, I still think it’s

Target’s bathing suits are pretty cheap, but I think their target market is 14-year old girls that wear a 32A and want to look cute at the beach. As a curvy (though not even plus size) adult woman interested in actually swimming/kayaking/rafting/etc in a bathing suit, I have a hard time finding much that’s wearable

Nooo they were the only ones selling reasonably-priced underwire swimsuits that were targeted to mid-20s/30s crowd. Where am I gonna go now?

Ooooooh, let me add a similar story.

Oh that’s a shame :( My first bathing suit that could corral my gigantic boobs was from Victoria’s Secret. I still have it too-10 some odd years later and it’s still cute.

I miss Ren and Stimpy with SUCH a passion. It seriously informed my sense of humor. And the infomercials were fucking gold. It's Log! It's Log! It's big. It's heavy. It's wood! It's Log! It's Log! It's better than bad, it's good! FROM BLAMMO!!!!

“Paypal then clarified their alternate title also did not fit: “Gender Equality and Inclusion in the Workplace: Mansplaining, expert level”.

So in the most faint defense of this being an event for “male allies,” there is something to be said for not asking women to do the emotional labor of schooling men about gender equality. In practice, it’s probably pretty optimistic of me to think that it wouldn’t just end up like this: http://www.hulu.com/watch/745176

I feel like the clarification makes it better, but not all better. Should have some women on stage to also provide input and you know, correct the supposed allies if they mess up, rather than just anointing a few men good allies.

I’m sorry but listening to just “male allies” talk uninterrupted for an hour was a large portion of my college experience and I don’t feel the need to subject myself to it again!!!

Jesus Fucking Christ on a Bike.

You know what? I may have to give up trolling. PayPal is doing a far better job than I ever could.

Wait so you’re saying that I shouldn’t have signed up to give a talk on “how to work with black women”?

In fairness, they did put all of their female employees on the team.
