I interpreted as it being her attempt to convince herself that she's not jealous of this 23-year-old guy from another time kissing the 16-year-old she just made efforts to set him up with - which I can see, because admitting she's jealous about that means both coming to terms with wanting a guy who's not her husband…

There are serious and honest conversations about gun violence, mandatory minimums, prison-industrial complex, socio-economic factors, gang recruitment, gun and drug trafficking and lack of educational opportunities that have contributed to gun violence in my city.
One thing that helped me the last time I was unemployed was doing volunteer work. I had the time, it got me out with other people, it was free, and I felt like I was making a positive contribution to the world. Just something to consider. Fingers crossed you find a great new job very soon!
