Its always fun when a guy who's talking about immaturity starts his comment off by calling people "bitches".

Carolyn, you really need to relax. You are reading WAY too deep into some of this shit. I get it, it’s cool to be on the Rowling hate train and Kotaku loves stirring up unnecessary controversies, but it’s okay to enjoy video games, even controversial ones, without the baggage of social commentary and toxic social

...there was also the issue that they retconned the Dr to have a daughter so you’d feel bad about your actions at the end of the first game (my husband flame throwered the whole lot of those douche canoes, because he was so attached to Ellie). Like yeah, Joel is implied to have done some awful stuff, but as far as I

Totally. TV viewers will definitely be able to handle it better for all the reasons listed above (they’re more used to that kind of storytelling, Joel isn’t the audience’s literal controlled surrogate so the death will feel different, etc.) but I also think the story will probably be handled better.

Spoiler warning.

I was more curious about what this Twitch Deepfake Porn Scandal was about since I didn’t know there was a scandal. Instead it starts off on the assumption that I, the reader, knows who this streamer is. At the very least, it should be able to pin down what responsibility Twitch has in all of this, since their name is

Dude, you’re such an asshole, you make me want to run out and buy a copy right now. I won’t even open it. Buying it would make me feel disgusting because I despise the creator’s views on trans people, but you’re such an incredible bag of dicks with the way you treat your fellow human, it would almost be worth it to me

If only 99% of the discussion around this wasn’t absolute brainworms awful shit.

I know this is a serious article and I’m really sorry these young ladies had to go through what would have been an science fiction a few years ago.

“Sweet Anita”

Creative is too open to interpretation if you don’t have a unified and cohesive vision imo. Creative could be a completely different show, with only the names in common with the IP you’re building on, as we’ve seen in a lot of failed adaptions.

The real zombies were the friends we lost along the way.

I fail to see the issue.

I am not gonna get caught up in this until the game releases but that quote was limited and the full quote makes a bit more sense

I mean, the obvious answer has been said multiple times in the comments already. It almost always comes down to contract negotiations and Cavill is going to keep being Superman.

I think regardless of the reasons for his departure, though, the show isn’t going to survive it.  Cavill *IS* the show, frankly, and Liam

Season 1 was barely watchable, garbage trash show overall, Cavill was the only redeeming thing about it. After he’s gone there will be absolutely zero reason for anybody to watch netflix’s “The Witcher,” not to be confused with “The Witcher” books and video game series of the same name.

There are far more bad adaptations than good ones, so fans do have justification to be wary.

I’m not sure you can tell from up there on your soap box, but a lot of people are certainly able to fully grasp that any adaptation that drives off the central star that made fans enjoy the show is certainly not a good adaptation, and doesn’t “slap”.

Faithful or otherwise, if you lose Cavill, you’re not going to make

It’s just mind-blowing this is where Netflix decides to cheap out. They blow hundreds of millions if not billions on shovelware crap. Then on one of their actual hits, they won’t pony up and work around the Superman filming needs.
