I'm not saying she can't act. Far from it. Her, and Dafoe's acting is the best part of Beyond. But still regardless, the incoherrent plot with huge logical gaps in the story cripple the narrative beyond repair. Tthe game has an awful story. And considering there's nothing in the terms of gameplay, that's the only part

Ah, the game Ellen Page hopes she was a part of. And the game she regrets she were a part of.

Hey! I'm not the only one who absolutely hated RA3 as a game. Sure I liked the cutscenes, which were very reminiscent of old Westwood Red Alerts. But as for the gameplay itself, the meat of the game. That was absolutely abysmal. I hated it.

The consoleitis with RA3 was wholly present. Neutered units, very little

I think I know what it is that made Uncharted 3 feel off compared to Uncharted 2. In one of the UC3 "making-of" documentaries (or perhaps through some other media) I caught a something that one of the game developers said which stuck out to me. He said that in UC3 they first designed the elaborate set pieces and then

To perfection (for me) that intro should be followed by this:

That's kinda unfair. Marty O'Donnel is in a whole different league above pretty much anyone else in music industry. I don't know how he does it, but his music simply makes my ears bleed honey, so sweet.

I'd chuck him up there in with Zimmer, Williams, Giacchino and the likes.

Personally the most feels I got was from the

Oh man I love Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I can't say enough good things about that game. The theme is amazing, maybe not the absolute most top best song I can think of from last gen (most of Marty O'Donnel's music triumph for me), but as a theme that perfectly sets the mood for a game, Icarus for HR is perfect.

If a movie is well executed, it being long is only a bonus. And Master and Commander is amazing movie. Not one I would watch every week. But every now and then, sure. As ship movies go (weird saying that), it's my absolute favorite. Realistic, yet not boring.

You know what, I'm totally with you there. I know all graphics card connoisseurs in the intertubes swear by Nvidia cards, but I have always preferred ATI (AMD) cards myself.

I don't know what it is, but whenever I have used Nvidia cards I have had myriad of trouble with them. And conversely, when I have used ATI cards

We are going to have to act, if we want to live in a different world.

That's the face Harrison Ford made when he learned that Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull would suck.

I'm expectantly waiting them to take the Big Dog (seen briefly in the vid above)

I'm really hyped and dreading Mirror's Edge 2 at the same time. I want ME2 to be like the first game's earlier more open levels with some added immersive features. But I'm frightened that EA/DICE will dumben the game down for "mass appeal" and remove all that this article addresses.

I hate 3D in movies, and generally don't really care for it, it's a cheap gimmick... However, with video games, I see great potential. With games the added depth seems more than justified.

Playing Mirror's Edge in 3D has been my dream for few years now. And since the reveal of Oculus Rift that dream has turned into

That Rapture one is wonderful. I'm always a sucker for minimalist as well as art deco.

Well there you have it. I agree with you. Blomkamp is amazing director, but pretty awful writer. He's not one hit wonder as many like to say. Blomkamp definitely has lots of potential still in him. It's just that with Elysium he tried to chew way more than he was capable of taking. Most of Elysium's shortcomings I'd

The Xbox will never get any blood from my stool as long as I live!
