You're right, but keep in mind that the mutation rate is very slow in reality in both controlled environment and in nature. Most mutations are repaired in normal reproduction, only very small number of mutations are left in every single one cases that transfer to offspring. And even from those only every so few are

Actually, with enough inbreeding and selection you can wean out any problematic genes causing diseases so that you'll end up with gene line where every individual has the same disease free genome. You can breed siblings among themselves or offspring with their parents. And keep doing that forever without having

I'm with you there. Most people's reaction to the announcement trailer was the same (including mine). "Hm, what's this? A mysterious character hacking stuff, sneaking inside a club to spy on someone. Oh hey this looks new and really interesting. Maybe this'll be something different, it might be just... wait, he just

This Infinity thing baffles me. Two days ago I had not even heard of the thing, and now it's apparently something (big?). From what I gather from these Kotaku articles, Infinity is some sort of game-thingy you plug in your console and then you sit on top of it these plastic figurines and they appear in the game you

No, what Fox did was they killed and buried it, then they dug it up and now are prancing it around in a macabre display trying to make few bucks off it's carcass.

Oh man I wish I were black just so that I could cosplay as Neil DeGrasse Tyson. That man is my personal hero. I can't begin to describe how much I respect him. And I'm not even American, nor black, nor astrophysicist.

Or the next Deus Ex for mobile platfo... oh wait, that actually happened. I'm so sorry.

I don't know, the Bioshock one I mean...

I was about to point this out. The fact that a game elicits such deep discussion about morality and actions of a character is a hallmark for excellent story-telling.

The best part was how the film built up to that scene. It felt like it was earned. Instead of being just a mindless action sequence, the end fight of D9 fits to the story perfecly... Unlike in Avatar where the end action sequence feels like something tacked in there just for the sake of having action sequence.

Fuck Movies!

I almost feel bad for Microsoft... Almost.

Unfortunate typo there...

Feels like gaming world equivalent of a bowl movement after long constipation hearing this news.
