Valve making a console of their own... You all know what that would mean, right?

It's not the oil-rigs, but nuclear power plants that I'm most worried about (and I'm not alone with that fear). There are bunch of old Chernobyl-type reactors still in use today. (Even the Chernobyl itself is still in use!)
Oh, I hope it makes eery scifi sounds too when you browse through different pages and settings.
... No, what I'm saying is that originally they were developing it for PC all along and only much later they changed it to console exclusive. And perhaps that was a mistake as Alan Wake did not sell as well as it should have sold when it was released.
Not releasing the game on PC in tandem with the 360 version like it was supposed in the beginning was the biggest mistake they made. Somehow I feel that decision came from Microsoft and not from Remedy tho... Regardless I reckon that move cost them quite a bit of revenue.
Shoulder-pads look like they are upside down. :/
That clip makes me embarassed of admitting being a fan of the series.
That's really interesting. Thanks for shedding some light on the matter. I should have guessed that its meaning has changed over the years.
As a non native english speaker I have one question. Something I've never quite figured: Why is it when some thing is "horrible" it's "horrific", but when some thing is "terrible" it's not "terrific"?
My first reaction to the news headline was: "European Space Agency supports SOPA? That is weird on so many levels..." And then I read the news. :D
I figured that's what you meant. XD
Are you implying that RLM reviews are somehow below the average? Because I can tell you, they are not. Far from it.
Military lingo amongst soldiers is filled with the worst possible language. It's nothing new. All said in a context of a 'friendly' competition... (TBH I'm glad they chose to include that in the game, brings some realism to it.)
I think I know what you are speaking of... Kipkay? :D
Bravo. Such well written and thoughtful comment. I agree wholeheartedly with that.
Ohey! This is the same guy who did this awesome Game of Thrones cover too.
Yeah, like others have said here already, why not ask The Cinema Snob as he has the movie and also has done a brilliant review of the film: [thecinemasnob.com]
