The one thing Dead Space got absolutely correct was the soundscape. The eery, yet spacey sound fitted to the game like a glove... And by the look of things, the sequel will follow on those footsteps.

I'm trying to finally finish Assassins Creed: Brotherhood.

EA gets this year's golden heart.

@Maugrim: I hope you all noticed but the little post-it has written "Ubar Wabar Iram of the Pillars": [en.wikipedia.org]

@CuttySark: That would be awesome... Reminds me of the one Tintin comic where he accidentally trips over sharp rock only to be revealed to be just the tip of undiscovered pyramid.

@Sphinx797: I love the way you spelled Uncharted in uppercase but left their names in lowercase.

@Buuhan1: HEY! I'm with you there. I was so sad when he walked away in the second game only to do minor appearance at the end.

When the hell did this happen? Until a while ago it was not even clear that they are already making sequel, and now we are getting demo?!?!

@Jennacide: God creates pirates. God destroys pirates. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates pirates...

@WestwoodDenizen: Well, I'm all for that too, history (no matter where and when) is always interesting. And if it were me I'd do em both. Create same regions during different time periods. And completely different locations during different periods. All your suggestions sound equally really great (except wild west,

@WestwoodDenizen: Ooh, and it would be awesome to see how same locations evolve through different time periods. And maybe even some connectivity where character's decisions effect those during later period. Like you can hide stuff as treasures and later as different characters to find them.

@Sisee: I can stand wholeheartedly behind your comment. There are "crimes", and then there are CRIMES!

Damn you internet hype machine for pulling me to the hope for extra terrestrial life!

@iiqulo: My ideas are nothing new per say. I'm not surprised that similar game concepts have been done before. I think all those games came when the technology was not capable to fully benefit from the initial ideas. And today the lack of creativity due to the fear of new keeps the same idealists who created those

@You_Couldn't_Carve_Anything_Off: Yes, you and me both. All the stories and ideas I have with movies and games I'd like to do some day. But due to the lack of funding and or connections it's quite unlikely that those ever come through. :(

@TheReaper456: THIS is the reason I dread this movie so much. No because what it'll turn out (even though that's still sad), but that it will destroy any changes this movie has for getting good adaptation.

@Foggynotion: Well not necessarily. The game would probably be eithter 1st or 3rd person game. Because (as I see it) the proper way to tell the story would be trough one person's perspective. And having "god" perspective on things detaches player from the survivors.

@phantomzxro: Yes, maybe my post was unclear. I did not meant that the games I listed were bad in any way, far from it. I actually have played and enjoyed 'em quite much. It seems you got my idea out of the post tough. :)
