It seems that they're conflating movies ABOUT teens with movies FOR teens. Not every movie about kids is made to be viewed by that same age group.

I’m judging the language here that normalizes it. It doesn’t matter what the character thinks, it’s a movie about the statuatory rape of a minor, not about an affair between two adults.
