I know MMO’s are all about evolving over time and adding new features, but I was a longtime Vanilla WoW player who quit towards the end of Burning Crusade. By the time I decided to use a free trial and go back into it several years later, it was a completely different game. I even tried avoiding the new areas and just

Gotta give some love to Steamworld Heist (3DS e-shop game). This game is kind of flying under the radar, but it’s a very fun mash-up of XCom and Worms. It’s short at around 10 hours, but the developers said there will be an expansion soon. The boss fights are awesome.

This game hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves.

Now playing

I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of it, but Assault Android Cactus is one of the best indie games I’ve ever played and it was at PAX this year. The game is made by a team of 3 guys from Australia, and it’s coming in September!! You guys should do a feature on it! It needs attention!

Yep, we “Spark a bowl/joint/blunt” (or, occasionally, just “spark/light up”) to get em started, then we “Smoke a bowl” or “hit the bong/joint/blunt” to get “high”

For the record, Titanfall is one of my favorite PvP games of all time. I don’t know what it is about that game, but I am nearly unstoppable in it, whereas in Halo or CoD, I’m only adequate.

Competition is great and all, but when the entire game is based around that competition... it ends up being a very dreary experience, unless you’re the sort of person who lives for the competition.

i get that. im an introvert as well for the most part but ive learned some extrovert behaviors (i live with bad influences :p).

I...didn’t think Pikachu smoked. Maybe during breaks? After sex?!

This bear is an animal and it doesn’t give a shit about models. It just wants food and shelter. poorridge, an appropriately sized chair and a bed of a specified firmness level.

This traffic isn't bad - it's just accurate to real life, where everyone makes mind-numbingly terrible decisions.

Seriously. That one lane traffic .gif? Welcome to DC.

Thank goodness us PC gamers didn't have to wait at all.

OR you could just, you know, not let your no doubt shitty, self-centered kid play a game that requires a 45 minute time investment 10 minutes before it's time for bed, or dinner, or homework, or whatever. Instead of blaming everyone and everything for your inability to control that one simple thing.

This approach doesn't really fix anything though. It's actually pretty contrary to how you'd want a person to grow. This should be about encouraging your child to make the right decisions.

Pixel art is complete scenes or single set pieces done with limitations on a pixel-level detail.

I've been saying this for a while now.

I grew up in a time when being a "gamer" was cause for ridicule. Shit, admitting to owning a Nintendo in the mid-80's was a good way to get your ass kicked at my school (not at all schools, I understand).

Now that gaming's finally mainstreamed, and the hobby has -finally- gained

Imagine a game where you start as a stone age man, looking up at the moon. He's angry at it. He blames it for everything bad in his life. He vows vengeance.

THAT WAS A GIFT, YOU BASTARD.

I don't think it's fair to cite stats like that in the absence of evidence in this instance of what did or didn't happen. I assume Temkin is innocent until proven guilty, as I hope everyone else does.
