Name the advantages of a GT-R? I’m not being a dick, this is important of an informed decision on a performance vehicle. I owned a G37 coupe previously and now own an E39 M5.
Good point, I’ve heard annual maintainance (required) for a GT-R is in the neighborhood of $2,000? I suppose not having a $20,000 transmission, transmission fluid, radiator/fluid, oil, oil changes/filters, and such certainly put the Tesla over the GT-R. Plus dat screen yo!
I was hell bent on working my ass off to buy a GT-R, but now I can get the same sensation in a luxury 4 door for roughly, roughly, the same price.
I agree the sensation of falling down @ 1g is different than being pushed back into your seat at 1.1g.
Trying to go too fast and cut corners via using the wrong tool, using more strength/power than you should, shouting louder to see if that helps!
Ah ok - But I thought that’s normally what you do when taking off? Just push the throttle all the way forward?
What does “firewall the engine” mean?
What were they testing? How long it can idle in line, if the cup holders worked, or if the windows rolled down. Stopping at a Taco Bell in a customers car is not “test driving” it.
Maybe fix your shift button before replying next time.
I bought a 2003 E39 M5 based on another Jalopnik article exactly one year ago. I think I did it wrong because it has 179k miles on it... but hey even if I can break even it will be the best investment I’ve made.
I didnt read anything but the headline and decided to come here and post HL 3 confirmed, but you beat me to it.
You have to admit that the latest gen of C and S Class look the most similar than any other previous year.
Pretty sure that was a Lambo bro
