Would have been a little sleeker to go foregone, but still, nicely played.

Name dropper.

Yeah, I'm not sure it's above-board to take a bunch of pictures from Street View, remove the Google copyright from the corner, and add your own logo. And then not credit Google at all.

I've seen other posts on here of yours so I know you're no dummy or anything. I just don't see eye-to-eye with you, I guess.

Yes, but sometimes the annoyance isn't so built-in to the method of being outgoing.

That sounds... horrible. Really presumptive and unnecessary. But at least you have a hobby.

Well, if music in 50 years is just a bunch of beeps and robots or something, music from Kanye with actual lyrics and probably some actual instruments will seem just as authentic and heartwarming by comparison as the music of the 40's and 50's does now.

That theory was probably proposed by someone born in the mid to late 50's.

I was hoping you were setting me up to hear "Fishheads" by They Might Be Giants or something.

Please tell me you're kidding. Holy Jesus, if you're not kidding may some deity smite you down asap.

That's an oddly xenophobic comment.

If you were going to wall-mount something like this, you'd probably have a nice enough set-up to have a set-top cable box. Most HD cable set-ups don't rely on an internal TV tuner.

They generally don't have any display input of any kind, which seems dumb and limiting, that you can't use such a fine screen for anything else.

Windows isn't really pushing touchscreens on desktop users. You can just disable the Metro interface. All they're doing is giving you choices.

Jesus, guy, try a little punctuation next time.

There's nothing inherently wrong with a patent troll. They only make money when companies admit to or are proven to have infringed on IP that the patent troll either purchased legally or developed internally.

You realize they get all of Motorola Mobility's profits, too? It's not like they only acquired patents. Patents were just likely the driving force.

Of course the posts have different rules, since THEY run the site.

Likewise, I didn't mean to be dismissive. My "fair enough" was a way of acknowledging that you were presenting me with new information, and I appreciate the chance to learn it.

Fair enough, but the article is talking about driving distances.
