He's a horrible president! How dare he send thousands of troops back from war that the worst president in the world(Bush)started!

People who say "Money can't buy happiness" have never had to struggle paycheck to paycheck. Money creates peace of mind when it comes to living expenses and the ability to enjoy yourself. When you have to constantly have your account balance in the back of your mind for fear that the smallest misstep could lead to

Sobering how many people grind away their entire lives without even coming close to half of that number.

I *never* delay sleep just to avoid sleeping. I sometimes stay up too late because I'm doing something engrossing, whether it's watching a movie or working through the trigonometry to try and get the goddamned hexapod foot to move in a straight line, or whether it's just because someone is wrong on the internet ....

This gif is better when reversed.

Let's just think for a second. She went through a pregnancy and a premature birth and her husband is desperately trying to find a job, but because you have an emotional reaction to them owning a Mercedes that has been paid off in full before they lost everything, they need to take the time to sell the car and find

Why? The car depreciated like a stone in a lake, so it isn't worth much of anything, and they know its service/repair history. Why give up a perfectly good car? Just so you can look the part of being suddenly poor?

Steve seems alright especially compared to that creepy aryan toaster strudel Nazi kid.

Or water with sugar, and LOTS of lemons.

"Pride" movements are generally backlashes against discrimination and hatred. Hence why you don't really see white pride or straight pride stuff. Things like gay pride say to the world "I'm gay and I'm perfectly happy with that, and I won't let you make me feel bad".

The reason theres a pride movement is because so many people still think that someone should feel bad for being LGBT. I don't think you can get upset about people being proud of their sexualiy until society stops making a huge deal of being gay. There's still camps and therapists that people send their children to try

Why does it make you so uncomfortable for minorities to celebrate what makes them different? Is there something different about being proud of one's orientation, instead of one's religion, national background, etc.? Why does it bother you? Because this is really about your discomfort, not about my pride — I'm proud of

Look. If you know the dairy farmer that is giving you raw milk and you can view their dairy stock and the conditions of the milking barn (ie. cleanliness) then by all means, drink raw milk. Hell, if you keep a cow or goat for the purpose, fill your fucking boots (with raw milk or whatever).

"Odd how these baseless anecdotes all say what I want them to say, as opposed to actual facts."

Wow, some random bullshit website that has a blatant agenda.

Damn, you're totally right!

Funny how what Boomers took for granted - cheap tuition, good jobs with benefits and pensions, houses, cars, vacations, new clothes - are symptoms of entitlement issues when GenX and Millenials want them. I don't think Boomers know what "entitled" means, like a fish doesn't know what water is.

I'm Generation X and I think that people my age had it much MUCH easier in the 90's than kids do today. There are entire industries that people in their late teens to early 20's used to hold that simply don't exist anymore.

The home has become a symbol of success: of getting it "right." Like owning an expensive car or having a family or a white-collar job with an income that looks good on paper. People who don't have one are seen as not having established themselves in a stable career enough to put down roots: having to move for work is
