It’s not a story, it’s absolutely true. With very little modification I can make the front end of my ‘91 look just like the very first one to roll off the line 29 years prior.

Pretty sure the stamping imperfections would telegraph through the vinyl but what I can tell you for sure that the original 3M vinyl has outperformed and outlasted the original paint. Mine still looks brand new!
