The weight difference is more like 300 pounds, E34s are pretty light for what they are.

Depends, I’ve definitely had to replace M20 heads because of cooling system issues. It’s WAY cheaper and easier to replace an M20 head if it happens though.

I have that motor in my E34 ultimate daily drifter project and it’s nothing to write home about honestly. It makes good noises and revs pretty nice but it’s really hard to get more than 200hp without forced induction.

E30s aren’t hard to wrench on and this one has a clean body and interior. It’s getting pretty hard to find that at all so I’d say $3,500 is an ok price but $3,000 world be just about perfect.
