I actually do that. I like to warm my car up to operating temp before I drive it because it’s pretty old. So I usually turn the car on, light a cigarette and walk around the car checking for weird noises, low tires etc.

Luckily GA has separate tag offices and DMVs. The tag offices are fairly pleasant and easy to deal with for a government agency. I’m kind of dreading having to go get a GA license though.
