You're not wrong. Honestly, I think they never should've killed her in the films. She was too much of an asset to this reboot.

I love Emma Stone and the chemistry between her and Andrew Garfield was definitely the best part of the second (and even the first) movie. However, leave her dead. Too many shows and movies bring people back from the dead and it ruins the finality of death and cheapens it. Humanities fear of death and desire to beat

Even Bendis regretted killing Ultimate Gwen and brought her back.

Bring her back with powers!

Tasha Yar? Tasha yes.

Nothing says Voyager like Janeway walking slowly down a corridor.

DS9 so deserves some sort of an HD release. I understand the issues...it's just my favorite post-TOS show, and Terok Nor is so fascinating in detail and design.

I am 49. Until recently I'd never seen Ferris Bueller's day off. I STILL haven't see Grease or The Sound of Music. I lived in VT and knew several Von Trapp's and spent a lot of time at the Von Trapp lodge in Stowe but never did see that movie.

I didn't see it until just a few years ago, and it was absolutely mindblowing.

My boss used to sit next to me. She once distracted me when she was telling me not to swear so much. My response was a curse and I didn't hit the button.

Haha yeah I got you. I actually would put people on hold and go smoke a cigarette. It's amazing how long people will wait.

You think that's bad? At least you have separate modems. Plus, those easy calls help keep your average talk time way down. I used to deal with Stingray Modems, that had a USB connection to the computer. So, it could be the modem, or a bad driver, or even bad phone lines(DSL). That modem almost gave me PTSD.

I've rarely have a problem understanding a call center worker that's in another country, but I've found that I am more likely to have to repeat information and explain the situation multiple times so that they understand it clearly when I talk with a call center rep in another country. There are idioms as well as tone

Depends on where you are - unfortunately call centers are prime candidates for offshoring. I worked at a call center that was eventually outsourced to Costa Rica (internal company helpdesk) - and the bitching and moaning that took place from the folks calling in was so extreme that they actually opened a secondary

The best thing about these — ugh — Genisys photos is Matt Smith's constant look of "what am I even doing here?"

The novelization says that the watermelon was a Banzai Labs project whose goal was to design watermelons that could be dropped out of airplanes and survive hitting the ground to feed people in famines. There was no explanation as to how the people on the ground would be able to open a watermelon that was tough enough

The sad part of this amazing movie is that this is only the tip of the BB iceberg. It apparently has a substantial backstory running over a thousand pages.

John Yaya and John Smallberries are a close second

it's Big-Boo-Tay! BIG-BOO-TAY!

all hail the greatest villain name ever.....John Big Bootay
