Same here. I never read it as a cautionary tale, and also never thought of it as a true story.

I think this coffee shop/meeting place is a good way to meet everyone’s needs:

My husband just asked me to make a variant of this “salad” for his birthday - lemon jello, carrots, and pineapple.

Democrats took (and in many cases now donated) money from a sexual predator. Republicans knowingly elected a sexual predator POTUS.

I want him to be on a sex offenders registry, although without a criminal conviction, I know it won’t happen.

Not to mention that she might be laughing so as not to “embarrass him” in public.

I’ve seen various people on the right crowing about this stuff because “it pisses off liberals”. They don’t care how it might affect them or their loved ones, it just makes liberals mad. I’m starting to believe this is how the current administration makes decisions.

Semi-colons where they should not be used, and conversely, no semi-colons where they should be used, for starters.

I have relatives who will go on and on about how people of color are the true racists! and assume everyone says racists things behind their backs! and OMG !how awful it is to assume everyone is racist! Then 5 minutes later they’ll say something like this and get mad at me when I call them on it.
