I'm not a scientist and I had a bad seat for the film, so I'm not going to touch the "hot hands" and "arc reactor"-stuff, but those are the sort of things that I don't care about; I just assume Stark super-powered the battery or something, and that when he kicked Hot Hands' ass it became harder for him to use and

1) No one knew the terrorists were in Miami. They thought they were in Pakistan or something. This is mentioned tons of times; we even get footage of Rhodey traveling there on a hunt for them.

This is a great show. I can't wait to see the rest of season 4 and season 5.

This. But there is another, even more useless character that they have yet to kill, One that's just in the way for anything, one that's not useful or even interesting right now...

Moffat's said that Smith will be the Doctor "till the end of time", so I doubt this season finale is the last we'll see of him, yes. Plus he's confirmed for the 50th Anniversary-special, so "fall from grace" or something similar seems likely.

It was.

Sure you can tell that they never meant to solve the murder in Twin Peaks, but there was still a lot of mystery left. The statement that "They had to create a new mythology, there was nowhere to go" is bullshit - they had the entire Black Lodge/White Lodge-thing that fuels the show after the mystery's been solved.

The book is really amazing. The first episode was pretty bad, with really spotty acting; Roth's strength is not instructing the actors, apparently.

Scripts change when you make them into films. What works excellently on the page might end up looking horrible on-screen. Sad, but true.

It was incredibly amazing and the biggest blunder HBO did. Would've made them tons of money down the line.

You know, I'm up for ANY of these. If we get even half, I'll be overjoyed. Sounds like SyFy should just rebrand to "Channel Awesome".

I agree it was a bit muddled and should've been made somewhat clear. I also agree that there was no real supporting characters; that would've been a nice way to flesh out the culture and make things a bit more clear.

It goes like this; "The Long Song" didn't fail, it lasts for a thousand years. Every thousand years, the Queen of Years sings the song, gets transported over to the pyramid and has her soul eaten by the "Alarm Clock", who then goes to sleep. The Long Song is just to keep it mellow between meals, so-to-speak.

This film is pretty much the polar opposite of Primer. Instead of tons of dialogue and a clever, headache-inducing story (I mean this in a good way), Upstream Color is instead wordless (nearly, at least) and goes focuses more towards emotions than your brain and understanding.

Completely agreed. Immortals was fun and nice to look at, but The Fall is easily his greatest film - both visually and storytelling-wise, I think.

That's sad. I don't really remember much of the dialogue - it's been a few years since I saw it - but I hate it when films I want to like have a flaw that's absolutely impossible to ignore. :(

Yes! This!

Immortal fits this list very well, if it wasn't the fact that it was AWESOME. I really like that film.

No no, it's a great and fun pulpy film. I should probably rewatch it, but I remember I loved it the last few times I've seen it.

I thought it was a beautiful fable about love and loss.
