OTOH, NBC is struggling, so if this even gets alright views it'll be renewed! WOO!

Haven't seen Tudors. Carnivale was fantastic. I was thoroughly sad when that show was over.

Oh man, FUCK YES. This is gonna be fun!

Weirdly, I'm just getting ready to see that film sometime in the next couple of days. After this, that's definitely bumped to the top of my priorities.

If Daniel Knauf is going to be showrunner on that Dracula show, I am so going to watch the shit out of that. Carnivalé is one of my favorite shows. Television suffered a big loss the day that was cancelled.

I read this during the summer, and it is quite the intense read. Not as good as some of Lindquists other books, but certainly not bad. Though it does waste some time and there are some plotlines that didn't really work for me.

I read this during the summer and I could not shake the events in Norway last summer, especially since I'm Norwegian myself. It made the whole thing more intense and real, even if it was quite unreal.

I completely agree. This was good, but not great. Människohamn was so damn creepy and awful and amazing. Really haunting. Loved that one.

I really, really enjoyed this episode. I really, really enjoyed this recap. I'm really, really going to enjoy this season.

I do get that - Revolution does have a strange premise. I think if you're interested in watching it, you just have to let it go and wait for an explanation that's probably going to be strange or weird or stupid.

It's television though; realistically probable went out the window many years ago.

Season 4 of Dexter is amazing. Sadly, it all went downhill after that. Very, very downhill.

Giancarlo Esposito? Yeah, he's a revelation. Fantastic actor.

I agree with that, but you still have to find the pilot interesting, entertaining or having some sort of positive experience from that pilot (actors, writing, visuals, directing, etc.), even if it's not great.

I pretty much live for Twizzlers. You can have our free school system, just GET ME SOME TWIZZLERS!

Me finding this episode better could just be because I'm getting used to the show and sort-of lowering my expectations after what I thought was an alright pilot - lackluster, but fun.

I am so over the "gritty survival future"- genre. It's way too easy to make fun of (The Walking Dead), and so very hard to do right (The Road).

I agree. The thing is, I like this tone much, much better than the tone delivered in The Walking Dead, Hunger Games, etc. etc. I am very, very tired of the whole post-apocalyptic-setting and themes (which in these days are being shuffled out like new episodes of Two and a Half Men), so I'm glad to see this show breath

I just want to say to the poor, unknowing and amateur writers over at Dexter - THIS is how you do a "is the bad guy a hallucination"-plotline. Not what you were delivering during you're terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad sixth season.
