Thank you. :)
Thank you. :)

Take a guess where the second part of my nickname comes from, Ugg. Then take a guess at the first. :)
I agree completely about B5 - I'm halfway through season 1 for the very first time, and it's already much more complex and deep than Falling Skies, which is incredibly superficial.
*steps slowly away*
It is a very clichéd show, yes, but (and I know I'm repeating myself here) towards the end it had a few ideas which have the potential to become something very interesting and good. I'm hoping season 2 lives up to those ideas and gets better than season 1 was.
Never watched that War of the Worlds-show, but it sounds interesting.
But not every show can be gold (or are gold) from the very first episode, and very few remain that excellent (or without their bad episodes) throughout the entire show, genre or not. Examples: Babylon 5, Fringe, Six Feet Under (some of those season 4-arcs, though not many), Twin Peaks (is great, gets bad, then gets…
Huh, really? I mean, there were a few really terrible episodes in there, but it really picked up the pace and got better toward the end.
Really, really looking forward to Falling Skies second season. I have hopes that this will be the season where it gets really good. *crosses fingers*
I AM SO EXCITED! And this trailer did everything for me. I mean, HOLY SHIT! The wit, the fun, the insane amount of awesomeness, Andrew Garfield and Marc Webb...
Though I rarely get stuff done... But that's another issue entirely.
Because I have stuff to do. Reading, writing, watching, internet-ing...
Already looking forward to it. :)
Just got back from this and man it was pretty damn flawless. Probably the best superhero-movie since The Dark Knight - it's characterizations were great, and the inevitable "evil" turn was entirely justified.
Can't WAIT to see that ninja fight on the cliff. It looks AWESOME.
Exactly.
I'm complaining about everything that comes from Hollywood, even though I usually end up liking most of it. :)
Really, Hollywood? A "creepy" version of "I'm leaving on a Jet Plane"? Because... that's more silly than anything else.
Every time someone says "everybody just calm down" on television or in movies, I get the urge to shoot them, regardless whether I like the character or not. It's such a dumb and foolish thing to say, and it doesn't really help anyone in the current situation.
