Cool! :D
Cool! :D
Does that say Cave Johnson? O.O
No, but the salt mine running under Lake Huron is. :)
That got you hearted. :D
This reminds me that Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials"-series totally needs a better movie/television adaptation. The book is superbly awesome, the movie's cool, but lost too much of the story. This needs to be done thoroughly, and faithful to the story. Hire Joss Whedon or Matthew Vaughn to create the show/write…
#corrections Ghost House has NOT hired Diablo Cody to write it; the script is already written by Fede Alvarez and another spanish guy. Diablo Cody is doing rewrites.
There isn't one in the version I have, which you can read here: [db.tt]
Having read the screenplay, I can honestly say that this film will be awesome. Sodenbergh is the perfect choice to film this, and I had an epiphany after reading the screenplay when I looked at the cast list. This script is, and the film will be, very, very good. I am already eagerly awaiting it. :)
Dammit, this is making me really, really excited. And I can't afford to be excited, since this isn't released till NEXT year! :(
He did do that because the stunt in TRANSFORMERS 3: Mark of the Spoon killed a stuntwoman. So... worth it? :/
Ia! Ia Cthulhu fhtagn! Yog-Soggoth! Hast'r! Ph-nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!
Still one of the BEST openings of any book I've read, even if I don't love Stephen King or have read any of the subsequent THE DARK TOWER-books (though I mean to). It works like a charm, and is so recognizable.
This was really cool, and very well-made.
Dammit! These people stole my idea! (though I doubt I'm the only person who have thought about this, and I added a whole lot of weirdness too it... So yeah. I'll still write it. One day, right?) :)
The full 30-minute short gives you a story of two friends, and their eventual fallout. At the end, when the Main Character is looking back at his life, and thinking what could've been...
I thoroughly loved that short. I've watched it twice today, and I cried my heart out at the end both times.
I do agree with this, though I am sad that we'll never see Del Toro's vision of Middle-Earth. Smaug, for instance, looked terrific. I'm glad that they're using his version of the script; it makes his time on the project not seem like a total waste.
And now it seems like all these projects are finally taking shape, which is also a plus. I am so tired of hearing about these awesomely wonderful movies he's meant to be making, only to later hear that he won't be making them after all. :,(
I love the fact that every time Guillermo Del Toro does an interview or chats with internet-bloggers, he fills up half the "Morning Spoilers"-post. :D Seriously though: I'm looking more and more forward to Pacific Rim. And if Mountains of Madness would be rushed into production right afterwards, then hell, things…
This episode RULED. Seriously. I know when I'm being manipulated, and this show pushed all the typical buttons, but dammit, it worked. If the show keeps being like this, it is superb summer entertainment. I'm in. :)
