Oh holy shit EQUILIBRIUM was good!

"Con: Anyone else think when Cooter turned into a wolf he was going to have wolf sex with the human Debbie? I was almost surprised that didn't happen. Especially after the ass shot. But now I don't know if I'm dirty for thinking that, or if this is just what I've come to expect from this show. It certainly would have

Well, they don't ALWAYS get this stuff (all) wrong. Point in case - Firefly & Serenity, made by the fantastic Joss Whedon. :)

@AngriestGeek: In the words of Neil Gaiman (written in American Gods and remembered by me): "Facts doesn't matter - the only thing that matter is what people believe."

@collex: You're not, I love it to. Even after multiple viewings, it's a fun ol' sci-fi-pulp-thing. :)

And I'll be here, reading people's reactions, not watching until people are saying "Damn, HAVEN is GOOD!". Which is probably going to be never. Sad.

@Chuck: Well, with these Ryan Murphy-shows you just don't know what you're getting. Rumors say that Season Two opens with a naked, sexless person showing up singing in the Auditorium. It's obvious that this is Sweet, recently escaped from Hellmouth. It can't fail, cause they're already greenlit for a third season,

@Annamatopoetry: Hm, I really have to read that one. I'm from Norway so I read his books translated. (Cannot stand Swedish. Ironic, since at the time of this writing I am in Sweden.) I have not yet read Lille Stjärna, but I plan to read all of his books. I just haven't gotten there yet. :)

@Nannirk: He's absolutely right, so *electronic high five!* ;)

@Annamatopoetry: All of Lindqvist's book are amazing - Let the Right One In is a brilliantly fresh take on the Vampire Mythology. I've only read that and Harbour, which is a beautiful, frightening and disturbing take on Fantasy. It may be better than Let the Right One In, but it takes a while for you to be amazed by

It was way more solid than what I thought it will be. I'll use my new policy on it; 3 episodes-chance, then take it or leave it for the rest of the season. THE GATES has potential. Let's see where it goes. ;)

I am now once again super-excited for this. Great article! ;)

@DrZaius: It's Edgar Wright. He's the king of fresh dialogue. (See: SHAUN OF THE DEAD, HOT FUZZ).

There were some rumors about this after the movie came out. Our beloved Bryan Fuller (creator of PUSHING DAISIES, writer of all the good HEROES-episodes in S2) was rumored to be showrunner, and it was supposed to be a spin-off of the recent movie.

To answer your original question, "Why is total darkness colored blue in the movies", the answer is the following; "Because if it had been total darkness, we [the viewers] hadn't seen a gorram frakking thing!"
