Friendly reminder that Raven (at least I think it was her...) created an IRC for the Observationdeck. Address is http://webchat.irchighway.net/?channels=obse…
Thought I'd post this here. Me and my roommate went a day without any kind of technology. I wrote a blogpost about it - how it felt, what we did and what surprised us most.
Been lurking here for a while without posting anything, but I saw that new Fantastic Four-trailer yesterday (which, wow, looked very cool - if not just a mite too similar to Interstellar, but since I was a fan of that, I didn't really mind much).
IT'S BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER! Spoilers from here on out, guys. SO MANY SPOILERS.
Who else is following? I've fallen a bit behind on what Nintendo's doing, but hopefully they'll have something interesting and fun.
Holy shit. Last night's episode must've been one of their best so far. Bryan Fuller truly can do few things wrong.
I've long had this strange fascination for baseball. I have no idea why. I've bought and read books about it (The Art of Fielding, which is now one of my favorite books, and Don DeLillo's Underworld, which I have yet to read), and yesterday I started watching Ken Burns' documentary series on the subject, which I…
and man, was that awesome.
I watched The Hunger Games-sequel for the second time with some friends, rather impulsively, and spent the whole time nitpicking it in my head. As some of you know, I am an aspiring screenwriter with three (terrible) feature scripts under my belt (none produced, as to spare the other inhabitants on this planet), but I…
Because... Well, we need to talk. About YOLO. Because holy shit.
but how the hell do I do it? No one knows the correct ordering of episodes, and I have no idea which I'll follow. In short, I need help. Anyone?
and guys, I need something similar to it. Seriously. This filled the Twin Peaks-shaped hole in my life. But now it`s over, and the hole is back. Does ANYONE know of anything similar to either Twin Peaks or Les Revenants?
I am ecstatic right now. Damn near in shock. I have just experienced the thrill of reading what I am going to hold as one of the best crime novels I have ever read. In other words;
I'm applying for a screenwriter program at University of Southern California, and they're asking me to share "most challenging moment" and stuff like that.
Because I just saw the first episode now. Multitasked pretty much during the whole thing (I've seen the 7-minute trailer that basically summed up the entire ep earlieer this year, plus I'm tired) but I thought it was kinda fun and has a little bit of a promise.
YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO CLICK BECAUSE SPOILERS. BUT IT'S EXCITING. YES, "CAPS LOCK EXCITING".
The title for Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary-special has been revealed, along with its running time! Don't click if you don't want to know...
...of my "Doctor Who rewatch and review"-project. I have gotten through the worst now (Father's Day, bleurhg) and only have the last three episodes left!
I have taken it upon me to rewatch and review all episodes of Doctor Who from 2005, in preparation for the 50th Anniversary episode.
