To be fair, they did tear down and rebuild the library, which is where most of the shooting took place.

That was my exact reaction too. $42 million.... where will that money even come from? Unfortunately this is pond of those situations sender the logical decision is almost completely the opposite of the emotional decision, and this certainly has a lot of emotions tied up in it.
Same here. I also wonder what kind of damage was done, physically, to the building. Each (bullet) hole that needs patching, every (blood) stain that needs cleaning; perhaps a small financial cost, but emotionally? Just tear it down and rebuild.
Hey, you! (I don't know if I was talking to you with this name or as LittleFlower, but we spoke about you and your husband and stuff, a while back).
Best of luck and all the smiles as you both fight through recovery! Thank you to your husband for his service, and one military wife to another - thank you to you for what you do. Your husband is a lucky guy to have such a strong, positive, fucking gorgeous partner through all this.
You really do look like you could burst into hysterics at the drop of a hat in that photo (who could blame you, Prince Harry is TOUCHING YOU). Your husband looks totally chill, lol. How exciting for you! Best wishes to your husband on his recovery.
Wow. Thank you for sharing your husband's and your story.
Okay... everyone is so awesome. As awesome as meeting Prince Harry. A few asked about my hubby, and I am happy to report that while things have gone slowly, he is mastering the art of walking on robot legs. He was blown up in Sept. 2011 doing his EOD job in Afghanistan, 18 months after we got married. It's been a…
Congratulations, honey - your husband is HAWT!
I'm a couple of years older than his mother would be now, and I'd still get totally freaked out at the chance to meet and touch Prince Harry. He is a hottie.
I actually considered applying for this (I totally have experience with birds! Owls would be awesome!) but then I realized that 1.) I hate children when I can't escape them, and 2.) $2000 a month. That's 500 a week for what sounds like 12 hours a day. $5.95 an hour. That's little more than half the equivalent of…
Ack! You met Prince Harry! Congratulations, and thank your husband for his service (and thank you for your service as a military spouse as well). Thanks so much for sharing this photo—I just SQUEEEEED!
Is anyone else creeped out by the 'must know how to swim' part?
Great pic. And don't tell Michael K on Dlisted - he'll be brokenhearted.
Man it makes it really hard to hate the aristocracy when one of them does something with so much class. Maybe they aren't all inherently evil.
I have seldom felt this jealous!! Awesome picture. I hope your husband is getting better!
That is awesome, and your expression in this photo is beyond fabulous. :) Hope your husband is doing well. Thanks to you both!
Aw! Lucky you!
Yeah. That was a really crappy thing to do.
I was literally barely containing myself. I have a lot of pictures (a nice lady took dozens) but I was so jittery that the one of me shaking his hand is blurry. My husband laughed at me the whole time. I was walking around beforehand (for hours), coming out of my skin. I have some crazy celebrity stories (drinking…
