I do love me a good pair of boulders.

*rimshot*

Did anyone else think that thought this was grossly ironic? Someone from a tech-related site (pretty nerdy) Writing a seemingly condescending article about someone that is good at, and probably makes good $$ playing a trading card game? Its like Nerd elitism, or some inverse version of it.

Ill put it in another perspective thats a little easier to envision. When you wanna talk about consoles you talk about 3 companies. Microsoft, sony, and Nintendo (not in any specific order) 3 ultimately standardized platforms, yet different. While I cant necessarily agree with all of their "exclusives" but you

"PCs DO need standardization "

The ironic thing about that is engadget is doing the same for the most part.

Worst Pidgey name ever

Being an ignorant red-blooded american I have to ask: Do many japanese people really dig this shit?

Good music selection

I have to agree with you here. People get so caught up on pre-opinions. They pass their judgement before a game is even in its final state or released. And I honestly think people let the media or other peoples opinion influence their own too often (not implying thats the case here). I can understand the fiscal

Haha, I was just about to comment saying the same thing.

Wow this is the same bullshit they pulled on me, I just stopped signing into gold. Guess I will have to give ol M$ a call

I just had to do the command+f to find the counter-strike reference somewhere :D

Also its pretty much a step backwards to say (video)games have to exclude a certain genre or subculture. Either way the

Really? That's hardly valid. When my internet(and most people I know) goes down its for 15min-4 hours max. It's going to be that hard for you to figure out something else to do in that time?

U jelly?

Bought it first thing this morning. I will glady pay the 16$ pricetag. People paid more to pay the same game on the PSP. Ive been waiting for a decent tactics title on the iPhone(and this goes far beyond decent)

Sure maybe in that aspect, but its the same model. You get to play for free but you can still get a "premium" account in TF2. Not to mention this is exactly what the majority of the TF2 wanted(to keep them separate) And I do recall a hotly-debated mod that did exactly that.
