Really. Some cool ideas have come from independent developers, and then there is the majority of it; the same thing we’ve been playing for years, but with visuals from the ‘90s and some story the developer wants to tell.
That’s not a bad, but the Indy scene isn’t necessarily the cradle of innovation people make it out

I’m a little disappointed by the visual fidelity in these screenshots. I know that they’re not going to re-model all of the game’s assets, but Wind Waker’s HD remake is just as gorgeous and jaw-dropping as it was back on the GCN. Goes to show you how strong art design can go a long way in making a game feel timeless.

I did the same thing and was amused when my character got the “Level 60 Onyxia” achievement after turning in one of the quests (surprisingly, the one that required killing Onyxia).

I guess there was some code that just assumed if you did that quest (or maybe got the turban it rewarded) that you had killed her before

Oh good grief.

i love the manga but i consider it dead now. if more chapters come out now awesome, if not oh well. but it infuriates me than after such long hiatuses he finally finishes an arc and what could have been a fairly ok ending, hes like nah, continues a whole new arc and goes back on hiatus.

That’s great. Too bad their handling of the Special Edition has been so insulting to fans. I’m torn between supporting and playing a series I love, and refusing to support a company called who would treat their loyal fan base with such disrespect.

Too bad Nintendo still doesn’t understand how to supply their fanbase and didn’t make enough copies of the cart with all three editions on it.

Nintendo decided not to print enough copies of the special edition (preorders going for over $200 on ebay right now)so therefore they will lose out on a sale from me. I will wait until I find a used copy and cut them out of the profits entirely. I refuse to go digital, especially with Nintendo. I have a gigantic

I will go back again just to see the new stories in each expansion, but I am never raiding ever again. That was just so painful in retrospect.

No.

They are still doing a shit job. Netflix just came to my country the monthly subscription for HD content costs 11EUR, which is the same price as my 100/100 mbit internet connection(to put the price in perspective), and I was ready to pay that price until I found out that I will not even get all the original Netflix

I saw a bunch of Witness puzzles in this book of line puzzles I bought at the drug store for $2.50. Also, I saved $37.50 by buying that instead.

“Every other RPG franchise becomes a Tales game”

*uses a screenshot from Trails of Cold Steel, a turn-based JRPG, as an example*

b-but star ocean was never turn based, I think you mean phantasy star.

Hey.

They beat the snot out of each other and throw themselves at the ground five nights a week. Just because the outcome is predetermined doesn’t detract from the damage they do to their bodies or the skill it takes to do it well.

And yet, the game was finished. Dysfunction is a part of every job everywhere. His situation isn’t even unique to game design, it a part of bureaucracies at large companies around the world. And things still get done. And this issue of ownership? the fuck? I feel like this person had a warped idea of what a job

Be careful around here with those words! I once made the horrible mistake of telling people I pre-ordered games I was going to buy on day one anyway, and I had some guy follow me around here responding to every thing I said with some capslocked version of “you’re what’s wrong with gamers!” for a month.

Gahh, this is mine too. I got about 800 kanji in, and about 400 sentences. I need to get back on it.

I was more trying to highlight the utter bullshit that is peddled by movies. Schlubby-looking white writers write movies where schlubby-looking, white, creative types end up with smart, funny, kind bombshells. I’m not saying it’s not going to/doesn’t happen. I’m just saying it’s the fucking exception. And movies like
