Normally I’d agree, but even on the front page it includes the part about Ignis going blind late in the game.

Well, I was going to comment earlier but kinja was being kinja and now my comment will be buried beneath 200 others, but whatever :p

Well no, you’re still playing it on the Vita, it’s just not *running* on the Vita.

What a short-sighted thing to say, there are people who get a console for its games over anything else. I’m getting a Switch next month, I expect to use it docked at least 95% of the time, if not 100%.

Yeah, I never did the hiding thing when playing Mercy either, I just can’t bring myself to do it. I still did good, but every now and then I’d get my team going “omg Mercy, stop being so close to us, hide for res” which just made me go..ugh. It’s part of the reason I started to avoid playing Mercy a lot.

Mercy doesn’t actually require better aim now, her beams are still lock-on and her gun has always required aiming. The big difference is that she doesn’t hide in a corner waiting to resurrect 4+ people anymore and is actually in the fray now.

Pretty much this. Sure, a few characters don’t need to aim with their primary fire, but that’s a very small pool to pick from. Vast majority of heroes, particularly the “high tier” ones like Soldier/Mccree, very much rely on good aim.

Are they still temporary and when they’re done you have to buy them with the real money currency?

He was wrong about it being nonsensical, but considering disc 2 is what it is because they ran out of time (or was it money? one of the two), yes it could use some reworking.

I dunno how Blizzard has been ignoring scatter for so long now while simultaneously saying they nerf one-shot abilities because they’re not fun.

That’s probably a much better way to put it yeah, a lot of the dime-a-dozen retro styled games aren’t even necessarily bad, just as you said, very derivative and they bring absolutely nothing new to the table.

I think games with “retro” graphics can sell just fine as long as they’re actually good games. Problem lies with the bazillion “retro style” games that rely purely on nostalgia and are actually pretty bad games.

Would’ve been amazing if Yugiri and Gosetsu were actually on top of that tower during the quest and you had to climb it to progress through the story.

I don’t think you understood that reveal as well as you think you did, he’s not a robot/cyborg.

Yep, I thought it would’ve been hard to beat the 3.3 story fight, but this one blew even that fight away.

A mainline pokémon game on the Switch was always an inevitability.

That’s one way to guarantee getting near the top of the comments. :p

That’s the thing though, even those two are also coming to PC. Granted they’re most likely Windows Store exclusives that will never see the likes of Steam.

There were exclusives? All I saw was “I can also play this on PC or PS4"

I feel like they’ll forever be filed under “dropped plot”, they haven’t bothered doing anything relevant with the present-day story since 3 (sure Juno shows up in Black Flag, but nothing really happens)
