Many people think it’s one successor to both their handheld and console, but if true, Nintendo won’t say that until they kill the 3DS, which they won’t yet because it makes money.

Playing games doesn’t sound like such a bad purgatory. :p
All other points aside, I find it amusing that you blame Square-Enix for Star Ocean 5 and then imply I Am Setsuna had nothing to do with them by saying they only published it.
The 60 was actually a typo of 50 D:
Thing is, even though the savvy people see it more as a handheld that you happen to be able to plug into your TV, Nintendo is marketing it as the opposite, saying “no, it’s not the 3DS’ successor, it’s the Wii U’s, it’s a console that happens to be portable!”
I’d argue neither of them belong in the top 5 due to the explicit mention of it taking into account aging. Majora’s Mask aged no better than Ocarina of Time. Just something that comes with the N64 era, when they were still figuring out how to best do games in 3D.
I can imagine it, though luckily I have both a father and brother who built a lot of PCs before I got my own gaming PC, so they helped me out with the first couple. Yay for tech-savvy families :p
Yeah, I remember when i thought picking Lucio in solo queue was a great idea. Those were dark times. :p
Huh, I instantly knew that was going to be a Yakuza (not which one though, never really played any of the pre-ps4 ones) clip from the thumbnail with no HUD elements whatsoever. I guess I’ve seen too much Yakuza 0 lately.
It’s practically a must in Puzzle & Dragons, for my main account I waited until a godfest (weekend event every 2-3 weeks increasing rate of certain gods) and rerolled until I got a good god, or even two. Taking whatever you get the first time means you probably get stuck *really* fast.
Exactly this, 5.16 million copies sold on a console that only moved 13.6 million units. That ratio is a *lot* higher than the 8.5 million copies sold on 65 million 3DS units sold.
Ironically, Zoe has a better chance of being saved if you pick Mia. And hey, being controlled by a biological weapon’s as good an excuse for chopping off hands as any.
I’ve never gotten angry enough at a game to do things like throwing controllers, but I did stop playing DQ8 and never resumed it after losing 10 hours of progress because my PS2 crashed.
I’m always the odd one out on this, I actually kinda liked the twist. It’s unique, unexpected and doesn’t really negate the rest of the series because the game also makes it clear these “video game characters” are practically real people.
Maybe next time they get to work on a Deus Ex game again, they’ll actually make it a whole game. Mankind Divided was fun but it didn’t feel complete at all.
It was on easy. But then, so were the new game+ records, to be fair.
While the fastest run is 1:42:48, I’m a lot more impressed with the 1:44:41 run that was done in a fresh new game, no new game+ bonuses.
It definitely could be going better, more than half of those characters are from the two 3DS games. Fire Emblem existed before that, you know? It was actually better, too.
I guess it’s different in my experience because the vast majority of my CTF playing was in Unreal Tournament, where you needed both flags. I never played Halo or CoD much.
