My left leg does the same thing. I feel embarrassed to use the carts, as well, but I have some other issues, and I passed out at the grocery store from exertion, and now they make me use the cart there so I won’t have any reason to sue them, not that I would anyway.

The hyper-elastic skin is general only present in classical type (types 1 & 2), but not in hyper-mobility type (type 3).

Have you looked into Ehlers-Danlos syndrome? It would explain most if not all of the problems you’ve listed, including the hyper-mobility.

I have a very similar problem, though I’ve been afraid to bring it up to doctors. For me it seems to stem from pinched nerves in my bad hip, after I relocate it. or when my scoliosis is causing extra problems, though. Do you have any history of joint problems or injuries?
