Mom appears to be a terrible parent.

Root y’all gotta do better... you actually used to have good writers conducting intelligent discussions about real issues... what happened?

I’m a firm believer in option #2, specifically the “danger” part. I think they’ve seen humans over the past few hundred years and choose not to interact because by and large we are horribly dangerous, destructive, and pretty much insane.

I think mostly it's a combination of a *really* fucking cool art style paired with the disappointment of it being an extraction shooter

Probably Amazon. They just spent $600 million to license Tomb Raider. Embracer bought Crystal Dynamics, all of Square Enid's Western devs and IP (Tomb Raider, Just Cause, etc.) For $500 million.

So, a company whose business model is buying up other companies, and whose value is solely in how many companies they can buy, lost half their money when someone said they weren’t going to give them even more money to buy more companies.

Given Amazon announced they were working on a LOTR MMO, I’m actually inclined to believe it was them.

In some places a single hashbrown is $3. It used to be 2 for a buck.

Like how about instead of complaining, you fuckin figure it out, bud.

This is the main factor preventing me from ordering fries and I find myself only ordering them when the app has a “$1 any size fry” offer.

Maybe it’s because... let me check on the app quick... a small fry on it’s own is fucking $2.59. That’s 230 calories for $2.59. I can get a 250 calorie hamburger for $1.49 or a 400 calorie McDouble for $2.29. Like, I’m not here to do pricing strategy for you, McCEO.

When the fries cost nearly as much as the burger I stopped buying.

Everything that has ever existed can be viewed as problematic under the right lens. I feel like we are just desperately seeking reasons to complain at this point. I guess moving forward, just to be safe, all characters should be the generic placeholder body used in most game engines.

I remember the day I was in Barns & Nobles and reading gaming magazines and saw the article about Bethesda picking up the Fallout rights. I had stopped in my tracks and called my brother on my Nokia phone because he and I had spent so much time in Morrowind and Fallout 1&2.

Totally buying this on launch.

It’s still on creation engine, right? Don’t worry Todd, we’ll do the heavy lifting for you again.

There’s a mod for that. Well, not just that.

Dead Rising let you wear anything you could find. In DR3 I saved my friend from a zombie hoard while wearing lingerie and driving a motorcycle.

FFS srsly.

Let’s flip (!) that around and give players the ability to moon everyone.
