OK - I’m really just making this post to vent but I also want to know if anyone else has had similar experiences. Here goes:

So ridiculous that she seems to think she can’t be racist because she’s Iranian. Iranians are just as racist as everyone else. When I was over there last summer, I was particularly struck by how much shit people talked about Arabs. Not to mention that every person I met there considered themselves white. So.

I hope she comes here to read this and see how awful she came across. Of course she doesn’t see anything wrong with blackface so she will see any criticism and become defensive.

I agree. I think people cared so much about her because she seemed so neglected as a person by her friends and then by the show itself. But she’s dead, we saw her be dead.

I think both. For me it seemed like they introduced her as a significant character...and then just forgot about her.

Are you young? I think those of us who really love the show grew up on 80's films just like this. The nostalgia is great.
