I very rarely play these kind of mobile games, but I’ll be damned if I didn’t also get sucked into the Merge Dragons. I luckily never got to the point that I spent money (the way the camp chugged on my phone ultimately got me to stop), but the ads hooked me with the temptation of merging those ever-more sexy dragons.

Jason, was it a conscious decision to stop opening your Destiny stories with “Destiny, a game in which ____”style ledes? Or did it slowly fade out until one day you notice you haven’t written one like that—and didn’t even feel sad about it?

I had the PC port of that Beast Wars shooter...thing, and played countless hours of it. I couldn’t tell you what the hell was going on for one minute of that game minus dying whenever I went near energon.
