The CT6 isn’t wild. The 2008 CTS certainly is though, but even that was toned down compared to the 2003 CTS. The fact that Cadillac refuses to let go of A&S shows that it isn’t willing to take a risk. The current lineup is a softer version of the cars they started out as. Better-looking, sure, but softer. So, ‘mild’.

No argument there. Do you notice that Buick is selling just luxury cars and not luxury-performance cars? Maybe that’s the differentiation. But as you pointed out, there’s not much difference in a optioned-up Chevy over a Buick.
