The only thing I got out of this article, is that Hillary doesn't understand good taste.

I love it. It looks unique and colorful. I don't have the high end budget, but after buying a house last year, I painted it a nice, calming neutral gray and never finished decorating because it didn't feel right. Then I realized I'm not a neutral person. So I went back with a 'burn your retnas' yellowish green

Yes. It only causes issues if you get or already are pregnant. And from what my doctor told me, the only issue is that it also blocks androgens from male fetuses. So they will be born male, but lacking the correct male hormones. Though, that's not to say you should risk it hoping the baby is a girl.

Wouldn't it be great to have PCOS getaways??? Take a PCOS cruise somewhere, where no one gives a shit about their beard or chest hair or shaving anything. For once we'd all be in the same boat, literally, and we could actually enjoy a vacation without fear of judgement.

My aunt and I have a casket pact. I inherited my pcos from her (okay, well my dad- but she has it too) and we promise that whomever is at the others funeral, they will pluck / shave / wax / weedwhack / whatever to the other so even in death, we can finally rest in peace.

A couple of links for ya...

oh, I think she also put me on Junel because that was a more appropriate combination of hormones in birth control than I had been using before.

I had used Metformin for years without much luck. Then went to a PCOS specialist at Duke Univ. and she put me on a combination of Metformin and Spironolactone. This combo had done wonders. Spirono is typically used as a diuretic for people in congestive heart failure, but a side effect is that it blocks androgens.

Right there with you! There are a lot of us actually.

As a fellow soul-cyster (I also have PCOS) I would have a full goatee if I were to rock it. I am envious of her ability to accept herself. It something I have never been able to do, nor do I think I ever will.

It is my life's goal to record one of these conversations. It will happen.

That would only confuse them.

Living deep in the bible-belt and being a 30-something, vagina-having, marriage-free, childless, world traveling, home owning, sex liking woman with no plans to change any of those things, I get the "why buy the cow" comment quite often.

My aunt and uncle adopted a newborn via being foster parents. They adopted a 2 year old and wanted another child. They were lower-middle class to begin with so adoption was always going to be hard for them. Someone told them to go through the process of being a foster parent, but only accept the babies. It's

True Story: Eleanor Roosevelt signature is on my grandfather's high school diploma. FDR signed his brothers' and spoke at their graduation. They lived in Arthurdale, Wv; a pet project of Eleanor's and one of the first New Deal communities. They took out of work coal miners and gave land for farming in a

Please stop with the 1998 prom hair.

You're surprised? That's like watching the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, then being shocked to find out Bel Air is an actual place.
