The Verizon iPhone 4 isn't catered towards AT&T customers jumping ship, it's for loyal Verizon customers who want an iPhone option with their beloved carrier.

@Mr_Quackers: What do you mean "how will Apple handle" it? That commercial hasn't aired in ages. And obviously now, Apple will not air any ad campaigns that don't fit both AT&T and Verizon.

@Geisrud: Based on your comment, I'm assuming you either haven't owned a Verizon phone within the past 1.5 years, or the only Verizon phones you own are free 5 for 1 dumb phones.

@Belzebul: You're a lucky one. My wife's phone was completely inaccessible. Some people are getting away with getting into settings or their browsers or market by long pressing home and going into a running process. My wife wasn't so lucky, so she was 100% locked out.

@Green Man: The issue at hand (speaking from first hand experience). Is a complete lockout which manifests itself as your browser constantly trying to open a crashing LauncherPro webpage.

Happened to my wife yesterday. Thought she was high when she chatted me that her phone was basically locked out.

@blyan is not on fire: I have VLC on my iPad, and it doesn't work entirely well. It does play some avi's, but has considerable trouble w/.mkv's, which is quickly becoming the "new avi".

@blyan is not on fire: Well, reason number 1 agains the iPad is that the Archos plays pretty much every mainstream media format, and almost every regularly used open source format (provided file and bitrate limitations).

@comodidit: BoA Keep the change is awesome. It's amazing how much you save w/ change. Since the program started (few years ago), my wife and I average 1000-1500 a year in our savings with "loose change". BoA FTW!
