Here's a simple formula for why some women manage to flash a perfect smile for every single photo.

@Michael Scrip: That comparison is totally off base if you're trying to demonstrate what a Galaxy Tab screen is going to look and feel like. Physical size is secondary to resolution. at 1024 x 600, the Galaxy Tab actually has the same capacity as a standard 10" netbook. If anything, the Galaxy Tab display will be

A+++ for effort and initiative. D- for actual ring design, that setting is heinous (my opinion of course). What's the point of the diamond if you cover up 80% of it?

@NaraVara: my thoughts exactly. They don't even make their revenue from remotely the same things, so despite the fact they're both tech companies, it's about as logical as comparing Ford and Hanes in a direct revenue contest.

@obtusegoose: It is funny, because they went an entire step further and created software to allow you to install Windows on a Mac.

I'm very partial to L-desks, and not just any L desk, but the ones that have curved inside corners specifically designed for you to face the corner of the desk.

I'm not sure if you could do all those things previously, but I've always initiated navigation/driving directions just by using voice search and the prefix "navigate to...". amazingly, google navigation is able to get it right almost every single time (I'd say 19 times out of 20).

@Amethysaurus: LOL. For a second I thought that SharkShield.com website was some kind of prank, because the top of the header image looks like a surfer dragging a cow behind his board. That's a great shark shield, drag a fat cow behind you as an alternate target!

@rafflesia: I would think quoting Steve Jobs on what a leader is would inevitably lead to him just describing himself regardless of whether or not the actual substance of the quote was even correct. That would like me saying "Perfection of humanity stands 5' 10" tall with dark hair and size 11 feet".

@Terabiter: I'm upset they didn't have a "No Opinion" column lined up with 0%'s. I like thoroughness.

@hambonegravy: I believe it's the stock battery status found on my ROM, which is Bugless Beast v0.4

@JakeWharton: I Actually used ADW for awhile. Haven't recently so I don't know what fixes they made, but it constantly FC'ed my phone, and was very resource intensive.

Launcher Pro is a god send, and more for it's subtle enhancements more then the obvious ones. If you are an ex-iPhone owner that has experienced Android, and isn't a fan of the UI, LauncherPro is a huge step in the right direction.

@Nitemancometh: Can you source the exact name of the application and the developer? I have a Verizon Droid, and I can't find the Wikipedia app in question. It's not listed under "Verizon" apps, and doing a market wide search for "Wikipedia" does not list one Wiki related application developed by Verizon.

@Nitemancometh: A few misconceptions here in your comment. First, the Wikipedia application and the Wikipedia site that you can visit in your phone's browser are not the same animal. A good portion of all applications (Apple and Android) are simply websites aggregating content in a much more user-friendly way, using

It's sad that something this mundane (and I don't mean that in an ignorant way) is such a hot topic for debate. I'm not necessarily "gung ho" for or against prop 8. The way I see it, if you're gay, and want to get married, so be it. If your against prop 8 due to religious views, don't sweat it. In the end, if you're

I like the concept but I question the "full finger" ergonomics. I'm sitting here using my cheapo Logitech wired mouse, and trying to simulate what it would be like trying to use it with all 4 fingers resting on top, and it's quite awkward as well as tiring. I do like the thumb extension however.

@Enorym: Indeed, Gmote for Android did this in 2008, so in you're attempt to troll, you're actually right for the other side ;)

Just as an FYI, Gmote for Anroid has been doing this since 1.6 (so over 2 years now), possibly earlier. I had this app on my OG Google phone on tMobile.

Looks Gorgeous Brock. I do have to ask, how many of you guys are actually using backlighting? After seeing all these purdy Lifehacker offices, I went out and bought IKEA LED's to backlight my monitors and desk. After about 3 hours, I realized that it was totally screwing w/ my eyes, not to mention distracting. Is this
