    Put an LSx it in!

CAD was used but not a 3D printer.

There is an aviation seat sharing site that is better than craigslist. [www.worldaeroclub.org] I haven't tried it out yet but it looks promising.

I depends on the approach but you are right. Stabilized approaches are your friend. I was thinking more along the lines of landing over obstacles and/or airplanes without flaps.

Yes, yes indeed. Airplanes are that awesome. Get into a little airplane and a similar looking maneuver is a slip. It's more for losing altitude like crazy during landing but can be used for crosswind landings as well. Right rudder and LEFT aileron is all kinds of fun. Now that is hooning.

I think you are right. Maybe this translation makes more sense for Toyota.

I don't mean to be a braggart but I think this turned out pretty well. I designed it and, as you can see, I'm a sucker for coil-overs and rocker suspensions.

    Here's another

Most race car exhaust are pure art.

"A car must appeal to our emotions," That is a rather ironic statement coming from the reigning master of beige. Live by your words, dude, and maybe you will someday build a car worth owning.

Beautiful car and fantastic photo. I'm not complaining at all.

Interesting story and one I haven't heard before. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to be flying in or around that either. Sucking ash into an engine isn't cool (although not nearly as bad for a piston engine than for a jet).

A word to all those still in school...this is EPIC marketing fail. Don't ever attempt anything like this or you will leave a scar on humanity that can't heal.

    What, WHAT??!! no X-11?

Go ahead and obsess. I think those are pretty cool as well.

What makes a car better? Horsepower

Hey there, it takes a lot of ingenuity and thought to screw up something that bad. We need to give respect or do we need to pay our respects to the guy's family once he kills himself when the spindle fails?

Nice rant, Mike, really I agree. I stopped reading Motor Trend and stopped caring about anything they wrote approximately 20 years ago. Look how long they have survived on mediocrity and catering to the beige masses while sounding like an enthusiast publication. Let me say, however, that Jalopnik is teetering as well.

It would look even better with a set of buck teeth in the lower grill.

Top Fuel and Funny Cars run 300 mph on a solid axle. Besides, can you afford the Lambo?
