I'm tellin' ya the 1069 Chevelle was the peak of performance until the gov't stepped in and they had to back off from running an 8 horse team to a 4. Those were the days.

A million miles of mediocrity.
I've been away for a few weeks so I missed this when originally published. Good job, Matt. I like the story and the perspective. I had never heard of a Lincoln/Ranchero so I'm delighted and surprised. I couldn't agree with you more about the politics and I would like to add that even diverging viewpoints about car…
I think the cloud computing article is really silly. Dedicated buttons make tasks easier and not more difficult when you cannot provide full attention (such as when driving). Multi function buttons actually increase the load factor, and thus, the distraction. Tuning suspension settings for different roads without the…
Nice story and good job. Congratulations on the COTD.
It's not really any different from hiring an illustrator to create an image completely out of his imagination. It's an advertisement not journalism.
Doh, I clicked the wrong button. Sorry.
That's actually not true. Most stay in their respective categories. I interact with Corvette owners everyday and for the most part they are educated professionals. I deal with Camaro owners a lot less but they are typically a notch lower on the education and social stature ladder.
Lol, nice photo.
That would be the Camaro club. Get your stereotypes right.
Yeah, and they wave at real hot rods because they think they are just like them.
Allow me to point out that the million dollar 'Cuda "crowd" consists of about 2 or maybe 3 people...I guess three's a crowd (or so the saying goes) but not really.
You'll never get the attention or have the fun that can be had driving a C5.
Because it is at a dealer I will say NP. Otherwise I think it is borderline NP. 15K seems a little more reasonable. It looks like a nice car and the 350/4spd is a great combination. You can't go wrong with a chrome bumper vert and that blue is always pretty.
It's like flying off an aircraft carrier (I imagine). It's pretty cool if not unnerving. Kinda like the Catalina Island airport.
I remember the Airwolf premier when it first aired. That was a cool show. I saw the Santini Air helicopter at the Sedona, AZ airport back in the day when they were still filming the show. Apparently I'm nearly as old as you, Ash.
"Michael, I don't think it's wise to sell me. I know where you live and how much you drink...Michael?...Michael?
I completely agree.
It has to comply with the original FIA homologation rules so it has to start out as a production road car.
Ooooo, very nice indeed.
