Electric cars because a few people like them but they actually suck and don't save the environment like their owners think they do.

    Here's your SUV.

Lol. This was going to be my first suggestion.

We need a QOTD for what is the best car to drive on car free day.

Hey, I'm all for 400 hp day, and drifting day, and burnout day, and track day...

There was no celebration, just deliberate disregard. At least that's how I'm dealing with the day. In fact, now that I know about this I think I'll take the Corvette out for a drive.

Nice. But Ford really needs this guy. Just change the gravitational constant for the universe (I think that's what it's going to take).

AFFF handles gasoline and oil fairly well. It won't do jack for CNG or Hydrogen.

No way to combust? You've never seen a car on fire after an accident? I'm not saying that simply knocking the end off a tank will set it on fire I'm saying you can blow the fuel out the tank quickly and there are enough heat/ignition sources that it could catch fire in a way that gasoline can't. You can't mitigate the

But gasoline isn't under pressure and doesn't vaporize instantly. Since CNG is already vapor the entire contents of the tank will be released into the surrounding atmosphere and a serious threat of an explosion is possible. Not just a fire. You can't water down the NG with a hose to keep it from igniting. NG burns at

Correct, both are dangerous. 3500 psi is a LOT of pressure for a flammable, nay, explosive substance to be under. You knock a line off and you have an instant torch that can cut steel. A gasoline fire is one thing but these could cut a bridge in half.

I neglected to mention that the car is quite nice looking. He certainly accomplished his aesthetic goal and a worthy goal it was.

The reason CNG isn't used as much is twofold; gasoline has more energy density than any other commonly available fuel and carting around pressure vessels at high rates of speed and exposing them to potential destruction in an accident will, in fact, LEAD TO FIERY DEATH!

    Yeah! I agree.

    That's not bad.

Put the bondo down and step away from the air sander.

You see the strangest things in Canada...

So you're saying that there are a lot of beigemobile people on this site? Also, I mostly agree with you if the cars are virtually equal.

Nice find. I imagine that the newer models are larger in all aspects but I still suggested a topless car for Mr. Robinson's height.

I tried to find a photo with the top of his head higher than the windshield. I remember seeing that on the show.
