I actually just completed another 100% walkthrough of OoT this past weekend. Game still holds up very well, granted I was playing the 3DS remake.

Depends on the game. For example, I couldn't play an RTS on a controller, and I couldn't play a platformer on a mouse and keyboard.
Not sure if it's different outside the states, but iPhones come with an AC adapter. Not to mention the plug that goes into the AC adapter is USB, so that end is not a proprietary format. This is anti consumer, stop being an apologist for a huge corporation.
