That whisk doesn't look like it would be hard to duplicate using a 3D printer and a few strands of ABS or PLA, can't really vouch for it being "food safe" though.

In theory at least this should be carbon neutral(ish). Burning the gas generated would release the bound up CO2 back into the atmosphere. The power needed to run the generation process would likely produce the most "new" CO2.
